Remember all those advertisements about Dannon and how their “probiotic” bacteria would be beneficial to you?

(This may jog your memory, or at least give you an idea of what they were preaching)

Well, a recent court decision has determined that Dannon’s products don’t actually help you at all. That’s right, it was more of a placebo effect after all.

Well, good news to anybody that purchased or will purchase Dannon products up until April 23, 2010.

I don’t plan on making a claim… but I would definitely give them a buzz and see what they’re all about if I were you considering I’m just too lazy to do so myself. Up to you whether gaining a free $100 is really worth it.

I totaled my car recently… and the person I crashed my car into happens to be of the faith I was mocking. What are the odds.

For a normal person the odds are 13.2 million out of 6.5 billion

For me, the odds are 1/2.

But the correct answer is: Hasidic Velociraptors.

Ok I can’t go on with this because it’s just too offensive but I haven’t posted in a while and I just saw so many of these guys in New York not 2 hours ago I had to do something. Screw being politically correct, and just for the record, AYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYIAIAIYAYIAIAAII is not an Arabic war cry, it’s a mating call. And yes I live in a cave and hate infidels.

Hey, back from an extended personal sabbatical, I’m here to present tonight’s game 6 of the World Series featuring the defending champion Philadelphia Phillies taking on the New York Yankees.

The Yankees lead the series 3-2 and are back in NY to try and close out the series.

Tonight’s match-up’s feature Philadelphia Phillies ace Pedro Martinez. Pedro Martinez is notable for his years with the Boston Red Sox, where Yankees fans loved to hate him. In 2003, Martinez made a comment saying, “The Yankees are my daddy.” Hopefully this will prove to be the case tonight.

Yankees ace veteran Andy Pettitte will be pitching for the Bronx Bombers on short rest, hoping to bring the Yankees their first title since 2000 when they defeated the Mets in 5 games.

GO YANKEES!!!

I’m writing this simply to prove something I was discussing with many of my Ninecents crew on Saturday. Taken from www.dictionary.com regarding the proper spelling and usage of the word “Toward”:

Usage Note: Some critics have tried to discern a semantic distinction between toward and towards, but the difference is entirely dialectal. Toward is more common in American English;towards is the predominant form in British English.

Unless you want to start spelling the word “Color” like this, “Colour”, then “Toward” is, IMHO, the proper American usage of this word. Albeit the difference purely dialectal, I’m sticking to the American side and saying you can ONLY USE “TOWARD” IN AMERICA. If you’re one of our followers from England, then by all means, feel free to butcher the word.
